AI & automation

AI for SMEs, built and shipped.

We help established businesses find the places AI can save time or money, then build the system and hand it over working.

A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

Practical AI starts with your operation: the repetitive work, the information people need and the tools you already use. We bring the strategy, engineering and team training together so the result becomes part of the working business.

THE RIGHT FIT

When does this make sense?

01

You keep hearing you should "do something with AI"

and you don't know which of the dozen possibilities is real and which is noise. You want someone to tell you straight, not sell you all twelve.

02

You tried it and nothing changed

ChatGPT licences for the team, a pilot last year that's still a pilot. You need to know whether to push through or kill it.

03

You've found a use case but can't build it

You know what you want; you don't have the engineering to ship it and you'd rather not hand it to an agency that's never deployed an agent in production.

FROM IDEAS TO DELIVERY

What this does for your business.

01

Saves time on repetitive work.

The first build targets a repetitive cost: support replies, document handling or data entry between systems. The system does the work; your team checks and approves.

02

Replaces the slow, manual path.

A working system on your real data, integrated with your existing CRM, inbox or ERP. Agentic workflow design, error handling, monitoring and rollback are part of the build.

03

Gives you a clear investment plan.

An AI readiness audit and ranked roadmap sets out the effort, cost and expected return for each opportunity. Your board gets a clear document; your team gets practical AI training so they can own the result.

04

Connects knowledge with useful actions.

Multi-step agents, tool use and secure retrieval over private data, with guardrails and audit logs. Built around the information and permissions your team actually needs.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Start where you are.

Practical team training on where AI helps, where it does not, and how to use it safely inside real business workflows.

TYPICAL TIMEFRAME · 2-3 weeks

AI Audit

A focused review of your data, processes, tools, risks, and highest-return use cases, delivered as a ranked roadmap.

TYPICAL TIMEFRAME · 4-12 weeks

Systems Implementation

Designing, building, testing, and shipping the first working AI system into the tools your team already uses.

EXPERIENCE THAT COUNTS

Built by people who understand the operation.

Our CEO, Richard Sanderson, spent 17 years as CTO across industrial groups. His experience includes boards, budgets, legacy systems and deploying agentic AI in an operating business.

Richard is hands-on with the engineering: building multi-step agents, configuring tools and setting up secure retrieval over private data. You have a direct relationship with the person responsible for delivery.

If AI is not a good fit for the problem, we will tell you. The starting point is the business case and the process that needs to improve.

HOW WE WORK

A clear route forward.

  1. 01

    Understand

Review your data, processes, tools and team. Agree the problem to solve and the boundaries for using AI.

  2. 02

    Prioritise

Rank opportunities by value, effort and risk. Agree the first use case, scope and success measures.

  3. 03

    Build & test

Implement on real data, connect the tools and test the system with the people who will use it.

  4. 04

    Hand over

Train the team, document how it works and agree monitoring and support for the system in use.

USEFUL TO KNOW

Common questions.

What does an AI readiness audit cover?

A fixed-scope audit runs over two to three weeks and covers three things: your data (is it usable by a model?), your processes (which genuinely benefit from automation?), and your team (who owns the system once it's live?). You get a written, board-ready document with a ranked list of where to invest and where not to bother. We'll give you a fixed quote for the scope on the first call.

Will AI actually save our business money, or is it hype?

Both are true depending on the use case, which is why the first step is an audit, not a build. AI can help with high-volume repetitive work, such as support, document handling and moving data between systems. The return depends on the process, volume and quality of the implementation. It rarely pays off when forced onto a process that's already fine. If your problem isn't a fit, we'll tell you on the first call.

Does this work for a non-technical business?

Yes — most of the real AI value in SMEs is in non-technical businesses. The bottleneck is almost never the technology; it's the data, the process, and the team. If you have an operations problem and a willingness to change how the work gets done, the technical side is the easy part.

How is this different from a typical AI consultant?

Our work covers implementation as well as advice: a working system on your real data, handed over running. Richard Sanderson, our CEO, remains directly involved in the design and engineering.

Do you handle data security and GDPR?

We design around your existing environment, permissions and data requirements. Where an external model is used, we review its enterprise terms, data handling and retention settings, and document the data flow. GDPR requirements and any customer requirements for ISO 27001 alignment are considered as part of the scope.

What's the minimum engagement to get started?

Most clients start with a three-day discovery sprint, then decide on implementation once they've seen the ranked roadmap. We'll confirm the fee for your scope on the first call.
