ERP (enterprise resource planning) is the system at the centre of a business: orders, stock, purchasing, production and finance. Choosing one, or rescuing a project that has stalled, is one of the biggest technology decisions a growing business makes. ERP selection means working out what you need, comparing systems and partners on your terms and agreeing a realistic plan. ERP rescue means finding out why a project has stalled and getting it moving again, with someone senior on your side.

When does this make sense?

01

Your ERP project has stalled.

It’s over time and over budget. The integrator blames the business and the business blames the integrator. You need someone senior on your side of the table.

02

Your system is holding you back.

Spreadsheets fill the gaps, reports take days and support for the system is coming to an end. You know it’s time to change, but not what to change to.

03

Several businesses, several systems.

Each part of the group runs its own ERP, so nothing joins up. You want one system without stopping the business to get there.

04

You’re about to sign with a partner.

The proposal looks fine, but you’re not sure what’s missing. A second look before you sign costs less than a change request after.

What we take off your plate.

01

Requirements that make sense.

What the business needs, written in plain English and agreed with the people who’ll use the system.

02

A fair comparison.

Systems and partners compared on your requirements, your budget and their track record, not on the best demo.

03

Contracts that protect you.

Scope, milestones and responsibilities clear before you sign, so changes don’t arrive as a surprise bill.

04

A rescue plan.

For a stalled project: what went wrong, what to keep, what to change and a realistic route to go-live.

05

Data and go-live, planned.

Data migration and training planned with your partner and checked before go-live, on a date the business can work with.

How does it work?

  1. 01

    Review

Where things stand: the requirements, the contract, the plan and the people.

  2. 02

    Decide

The right system and partner, or what to change in the current project.

  3. 03

    Deliver

We lead from your side of the table until go-live, alongside your team and your partner.

  4. 04

    Hand over

Support settled, the team confident and a plan for what comes next.

Case studies.

Frequently asked questions.

Which ERP systems do you know?

Richard Sanderson has hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Odoo, including several companies run in one system. For other systems we lead the selection and the project, and bring in a specialist where a platform needs one.

Whose side are you on?

Yours. We work alongside the partner you choose, and we’ll tell you if we think a proposal or a plan is wrong.

Can you help with a system that’s already live?

Yes. Some projects go live and never settle: workarounds, missing reports, unhappy users. We review what isn’t working and fix it in order of what costs the business most.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?

It depends on the size of the business and where the project is. After a first look we’ll give you a realistic timeline, and agree the scope and price before any work starts.
